We have a new and exciting FREEBIE addition on our site.
New Freebie On Our Site This freebie is a pretty Monthly Calendar for you to download as a pdf, then just print it on an A4 sheet. So, what will happen is, at the end of each month we will add the following month's calendar for you as a gift. The one on our site right now is a download for March 2024.
March Drawing Tip! How do you sharpen a pastel pencil?After ruining many pastel pencils and wasting many nibs we found the only way of sharpening our pencils was to use a craft knife (carefully) then once you have removed all the wood from around the nib, use a nail file to shape the end into a point. The pastel pencil works good for details if you have a decent nib on your pencils, if you are only doing filling then you don't need a nib.

We are running a short survey on which animal you would like to see us draw.
Survey! All you have to do is click your choice of the animals, at the moment Donkey is winning. This survey will run until the end of March then the winning animal will be drawn.
It is so very sad when we lose our pets, it breaks your heart.
Pets In Heaven We have set up a memorial page so our beloved pets can be remembered. You can read about our lovely German Shepherd that we lost, we also have a story about Trinca a beautiful Arab Mare Horse who sadly passed away. If you have lost a beloved pet, go to our 'Pets In Heaven' page on our site and fill out the form, add some photos, that's it, we would love to see and read about your pet. Once your page is live, tell your friends and family and they can comment on your page. Best of all it is a FREE page!
We are currently in the process of setting up a YouTube Channel where you will find some of our drawing animals videos.

We have a new section on our site called 'Secondary colours on the colour wheel'.
Secondary Colours on The Colour Wheel These colours play a crucial role for artists who seek to develop an understanding of colour theory. Known as the triadic core of the colour wheel, secondary colours are generated by mixing equal parts of two primary colours. The three secondary colours include Green, Orange and Purple. Read more on our site, you will find these colour in 'The Colour Wheel' section.
